The hurricane came and went, ripped a part of our siding off but all was okay. We had a lot of power outages and the majority of my friends in New Jersey were evacuated from their homes but everyone is all right!
Well, up until today.
We're receiving some killer rains to the point where thousands of people are being evacuated in Pennsylvania. We're keeping tabs on everything with the news but we should be okay; seeing that we live on a mountain and away from the streams. I missed out on my one job for the past two days due to a horrible cold and now I'm missing out on a third day because there was an emergency evacuation due to the river next to my job flooding!
Craziness, absolute craziness. So here is another post of well wishing. I hope that those of you who are near rivers in the North East are safe or can get to safety. And for those of you in the area being affected by fires, please stay safe. My thoughts are with you.
Hopefully I'll be back in the near future with something other than weather updates!!
